A long dining table laid for a private dinner

Experiences

Four ways to eat here that are not simply booking a table

Everything below is cooked in the same kitchen by the same people — just with more time, fewer covers, or a room to yourselves.

The Valley Table

Upstairs · 10 – 24 guests

The Valley Table

Our upstairs room, one table, one menu. Aavash cooks a set of small courses around whatever the valley sent that week, and Suyog pours alongside it. Good for birthdays, small weddings and companies that would rather not eat in a hotel.

  • Five courses, set on the day
  • Wine or rakshi pairing
  • Room is yours for the evening
The Hearth Counter

Six seats · Thursday to Saturday

The Hearth Counter

Six stools facing the fire. You see every skewer leave, ask whatever you like, and eat a longer version of the menu than the room gets. It is loud, warm, and the closest thing we have to sitting in our own kitchen.

  • Eight small courses off the coals
  • Two hours, one seating
  • Best booked a fortnight ahead
Sunday Momo Class

Sundays · 09:00 – 12:00

Sunday Momo Class

Nikita opens the pastry corner on Sunday mornings. Mix, fold, steam and sit down to breakfast with what you made, then take the rest home in a paper bag.

  • Small groups of eight
  • Breakfast and tea included
  • Everything you fold goes home
Whole Room Hire

Mondays

Whole Room Hire

On the day we are closed the whole ground floor can be taken over — counter, dining room and courtyard. We will build a menu around your budget rather than hand you a package.

  • Up to 60 standing, 40 seated
  • Menus built to your budget
  • Courtyard available in the dry season

How enquiries work

There is no online booking here on purpose. Tell us the date, the number of people and roughly what you have in mind, and one of us will write back the same day with what is possible.

  1. First

    You write

Date, headcount, anything you already know about what the occasion is.

  2. Then

    We reply

Same day, usually with two or three options and honest pricing.

  3. Finally

    We cook

A menu is written for your table the week before, once we know what is good.
